This is a car Ive been working on for quite some time. It got the best of me a couple years ago, and the car just sat. I contacted the guy and told him to bring me the car a couple months ago, I was confident I could fix the car. Well, its drastically better, but still no where what it should be. Heres the specs on the car. 91 Twin Turbo *new stock long block *615cc Nismos with 300 degree fuel rail *GT525 turbos *twin pop setup with balancing kit (brand new Apexi filters) *UD pulley *OLDD blitz BOV's *2.5" exhaust from DP's to catback (HKS Hyper exhaust) *FMIC *BDE intake cam gears and that's all I can think of right now So far this is what I have done to the car. When it came back to me the car was literally slower than an NA car. *checked and replace BOV\recirc valve hoses and wastegate hoses *tested the wastegate solenoids with direct 12v source, they click *cleaned MAF *calibrated TPS *replace CAS with new OEM (biggest difference) *new fuel regulator, dampner, and filter all OEM *boost leak test X7!!! *timing is set at 15 *has new pfr6b11b plugs *cleaned\lubricated and adjusted BOV. Tightened the spring thinking maybe they were leaking under boost. The car has gradually ran better with everything I have done to it, but it still takes till about 6k rpms to get it to 12psi. Im literally just stumped at this point. Ideas, anyone? Im at a stopping point again because Im out of ideas as to what it could be, I feel ive covered all the bases?
